True

How do you build a marriage true

How cleave and leave your families two

How seek the good of someone who

Is wretched, just as you?

With honor lift each other high

Sacrifice without a sigh

Decide to love ‘til one should die

Then wedded bliss is nigh.

We learn to love through knowing You

Who love and give, Your wife to woo

Faithful in all, ‘til all’s made new

Image we seek to shew.

To bear burdens, fore bearing sin

No bitter root allow within

One flesh as many joined now in

You find our part therein.

So build us up, this church to You

Be glorified in all we do

A spotless bride who catholic, true

Loves and receives Love’s due
