Figures, lights, carols playing
Heart full festiveness
Cold drizzle outside
Sweater, wool socks, blanket wrapped
Warms my heart and mind
Frosted peaks tower
First winter snow descending
Winter’s biting wind
Shrouding fields like
A quilt of cloud in dark of night
Autumn fog returns
Words from nostalgia
Past remembered, minding done
Building closer ties
