Of Hope and Rhymes

Careful packing: one, two, three,

Snack for you and snack for me,

Water bottle, teddy bear,

Cars and balls and bow for hair,

Crayons, paper, bit of trash,

Spinosaurus, sticker smash,

Cracker fragments, fav’rite books,

Maybe Mommy’s crochet hooks,

Socket wrench and Daddy’s key,

In my bag, now off to sleep.
